Congratulations to Fannie, MFANISENI MASINA, on earning his MSc Degree in Biodiversity.
Another student supported by SADC-GMI has earned an MSc degree from the University of Mpumalanga in the Republic of South Africa. Fannie’s studies were funded by the JRS Biodiversity Foundation as part of the “Groundwater Dependant Ecosystems and Biodiversity in the Khakea/Bray Transboundary Aquifer” project implemented by SADC-GMI.
As part of his MSc studies under this project, his research focused on a baseline assessment of macroinvertebrates in temporary wetlands in the Khakea/Bray Transboundary Aquifer region. In conversation with Fannie, he thanked SADC-GMI and the JRS Biodiversity Foundation for helping him realise his dream.
Throughout his studies, Fannie was mentored by Dr. Tatenda Dalu (university of Mpumalanga) and Prof. Ryan J. Wasserman (Rhodes University)
SADC-GMI and the JRS Biodiversity Foundation congratulate Fannie on his success
and wish him well in his future endeavours.
